The Wiz!

The Tony Award-winning musical returns on tour with a high-energy, modern take on a classic story. Blending soul, gospel, and R&B-inspired music with dazzling choreography, The Wiz celebrates Black culture and creativity - making it a fitting pick during Black History Month.

Second Saturdays at the Friends of the SPL Bookshop

February 14, 10:00am - 3:00pm Georgetown Used Bookshop
Every second Saturday of the month, the Friends of the Seattle Public Library’s Bookshop opens during Georgetown Art Attack for a day of browsing, community, and creators. This month features My Secret Copy with “Books Are Political” patches and accessories, plus Sculpted Books showcasing folded book-page art and DIY kits.

Tet in Seattle

February 14 - 15, various times Seattle Center Armory
Celebrate the Vietnamese Lunar New Year with two days of music, performances, and hands-on cultural experiences. Part of Seattle Center’s year-long Festál series, the festival brings together art, tradition, and community - with plenty of traditional food to sample along the way.

Sound Off!

February 14, 8:00pm Museum of Pop Culture (MOPOP)
Sound Off returns with the first of three concerts this year, featuring local musicians aged 21 and under. The series focuses on discovering emerging talent across a mix of styles and genres. Want a taste before the event? MOPOP has linked an official Spotify playlist on their website.

So You Want to Date a Comedian?

February 12, 7:00pm Laughs Comedy Club
Ten single and/or available comedians take the stage for a night of stand-up centered around dating, relationships, and life on the comedy circuit. Expect plenty of laughs, crowd interaction, and a post-show meet and greet with the comics. A fun pick whether you’re coming solo or with a date.
