We’re already a month into the year, how are those resolutions holding up? With the Super Bowl coming up this weekend, it’s a great week to get out and enjoy the city before settling in. Here are a few events worth knowing about around Seattle.

Monty Python’s Spamalot
February 4 - 15, various times • 5th Avenue Theatre
Did you know Spamalot came to Seattle in 2014, the year the Seahawks won the Super Bowl? Maybe it’s coincidence, maybe it’s fate. Either way, this Tony Award-winning show brings Monty Python’s absurd humor to the stage with plenty of laughs and catchy songs.

Museums Free First Thursday of the Month
February 5, various times • Various locations
One of Seattle’s best monthly traditions: many local museums offer free admission on the first Thursday of the month, and some stay open late as well. Hours and free windows vary by museum, so it’s worth double-checking details before you go.
Sámi Film Festival
February 6 - 7, various times • Majestic Bay Theatres
Hosted by the National Nordic Museum. This year’s festival features three films and six episodes showcasing the Indigenous Sámi people of Northern Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Russia’s Kola Peninsula. The program is curated by Sámi filmmaker and artist Elle Márjá Eira. Can’t make it in person? Virtual passes are available February 6 - 13.
Vitamin String Quartet
February 7, 8:00pm • The Moore Theatre
Vitamin String Quartet reimagines modern hits and classics through dynamic string arrangements. Their music has been featured in shows like Bridgerton and Westworld, blending classical skill with pop culture favorites. A great pick for fans of orchestral music and contemporary songs alike.
Super Diamond - The Neil Diamond Tribute Band
February 7, 9:00pm • The Showbox
If you’re in the mood for something upbeat and crowd-pleasing, Super Diamond brings the biggest Neil Diamond hits to life with a high-energy live show that feels more like a celebration than a tribute. Expect sing-alongs, big choruses, and a lively night out that’s perfect for longtime fans and casual listeners alike.
